Nectar Ales Reverts to Its Roots

Earlier this week, Nectar Ales announced that it will revert to its original brewery name, Humboldt Brewing Company. The name change nods to the brewery’s start in 1987 in Humboldt County, Calif., before it was acquired by Firestone Walker Brewing Company in June 2005 and then again acquired by Total Beverage Solution in July 2012.

Bell’s Beers Now Available in New York

Bell’s Brewery yesterday announced that its lineup of core and seasonal beers are now available in Upstate New York. In August, the Michigan-based craft brewery confirmed plans to begin distributing in the Empire state with three L. Knife & Son companies: T.J. Sheehan Distributing, Tri-Valley Beverage and Craft Guild of New York.
