Earlier this week, Nectar Ales announced that it will revert to its original brewery name, Humboldt Brewing Company. Alchemy & Science is taking its talents to South Beach. The craft brew incubation project and wholly-owned subsidiary of Boston Beer Company yesterday announced the launch of Concrete Beach Brewery, scheduled to open in the Wynwood Arts District of Miami before the end of the year.
D.G. Yuengling Brewery is considering new distribution in Massachusetts, according to company officials. It would mark just the 16th state for Yuengling, which is nevertheless the country’s oldest brewery and one that sells nearly 3 million barrels annually.

New Belgium Brewing is once again expanding its distribution footprint, this time to Ohio. The country’s third largest craft brewery today announced that it has signed agreements with a mix of nine different Anheuser-Busch and MillerCoors wholesalers.
Over the years, the Boston Beer Company founder has dabbled in the space, sure. The company released its first “Boston IPA,” an English style made with the Fuggle and East Kent Golding hop varietals, in the 1990s.
