Flagstaff, AZ - April 1, 2026 - Mother Road Brewing Company continues the statewide rollout of AZ250 Arizona Lager, the official beer of Arizona’s celebration of the United States Semiquincentennial.
Brewed in Flagstaff and distributed statewide, AZ250 Arizona Lager is a crisp, light, and refreshing lager designed for broad appeal. The beer is available in 12 oz. 6-packs and on draft at bars, restaurants, and retail locations across Arizona, including Fry’s Food Stores and other major grocery chains.
AZ250 Arizona Lager was developed in partnership with Arizona’s America250 Commission and serves as the exclusive beer tied to the state’s 250th anniversary celebration. The project recognizes Arizona’s role in the nation’s history while supporting statewide programming tied to the Semiquincentennial.
As part of the partnership, Mother Road Brewing Company donates $2.50 per case equivalent of AZ250 Arizona Lager sold to support educational programming and community initiatives across Arizona through the Arizona America250 effort.
“Beer brings people together, and nothing is more American than a cold beer with friends and family,” said Michael Marquess, CEO and Founder of Mother Road Brewing Company. “We are proud to brew the official beer for Arizona’s 250th anniversary and to contribute to programs that celebrate our shared history.”
The packaging for AZ250 Arizona Lager draws inspiration from vintage Arizona travel memorabilia and features the Arizona America250 logo, selected through a statewide design contest. The design reflects the state’s identity through references to Arizona’s landscapes, industries, and cultural heritage, while connecting to Mother Road Brewing Company’s roots along historic Route 66.
Arizona’s America250 celebrations continue throughout 2026 with events and activations across the state, including the Road to 250: Arizona Traveling Museum. The traveling exhibit will make its Flagstaff stop on Monday, April 6 from 10am to 4pm at the Flagstaff Visitor Center (1 East Route 66), bringing an interactive history experience to the community as it tours all 15 counties across Arizona.
