Silver Eagle Beverages Announce Partnership with Austin-based Pinthouse Brewing

Pinthouse Brewing, in partnership with San Antonio-based Silver Eagle Beverages, today announced distribution expansion to San Antonio, the brewery’s first market outside of Austin.  Silver Eagle Beverages began delivering the Austin-brewed beers to accounts across San Antonio on January 18.

Nielsen CGA: Half of Legal Drinking Age Consumers Have Not Returned to On-Premise Channel

The number of legal drinking age adults who have visited on-premise establishments has remained stagnant at around 50% for several months, according to a report from Nielsen CGA, the on-premise arm of market research firm NielsenIQ. In the two weeks leading up to the January 8-10 survey period, 50% of respondents said they had gone out for a meal, which was the same number as those who had been out to a restaurant in the two weeks prior.

Drinking occasions remain less popular — 17% of respondents had gone out for a drink in the two weeks before the January 8-10 survey, an increase of 1% from the previous survey. Only 41% of respondents said they planned to visit a restaurant in the two weeks following the survey, but 18% said they would go out for a drink.

Oskar Blues Brewery Introduces Oskar’s Lager

A new American Pale Lager from Oskar Blues Brewery, Oskar’s Lager (4.2% ABV), aims to be the everyday craft beer you count on through thick and thin. With 95 calories and 2.5 carbs per 12 oz. can, this lager is an intrepid trail buddy, a frosty fridge friend and an unfailing porch pal. Oskar’s Lager is now available nationwide in 15-packs and 6-packs of 12 oz. cans.

Mother Earth Brewing Company Announces 2021 Beer Program

Mother Earth released its annual beer calendar, detailing planned releases throughout the year. Changes include additions to its year-round lineup as well as expansion of its wildly popular Project X Series. The most exciting additions to the brew schedule include the promotion of Hop Diggity DIPA to year-round status, and the introduction of ‘Milk Truck’ – a new Latte Stout the brewery will be unveiling next month.
