An aid package that includes help for employees of small businesses is making its way through Congress as the coronavirus pandemic known as COVID-19 spreads across the U.S. On Saturday, the U.S. House of Representatives voted 363 to 40 to pass the “Families First Coronavirus Response Act” (H.R. 6201), which the U.S. Senate is expected to take up this week.

Women of NY Craft Beer Collaborate on IMPACT Brut IPA

Twenty-seven females from the New York State craft beer industry will come together during Women’s History Month to collaboratively brew a Brut IPA named IMPACT. A portion of the beer’s proceeds will go towards purchasing undergarments for SAFE (Sexual Assault Forensic Exam) programs at local hospitals, UR Medicine Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua, N.Y. and Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, N.Y.
