S.K.I. Beer Distributing Revision Brewing Company Throughout Lower New York State

Revision Brewing Company’s Brewmaster, Jeremy Warren and VP of Distribution, Ken Foster traveled to New York State in the beginning of December to meet with multiple distribution companies to find a distributor alliance for 2017. Of the distributors considered, S.K.I. Beer proved to be the best choice. Mike Burmil, Chief Strategy Officer of S.K.I Beer and Jeremy Warren of Revision Brewing Company agreed on terms of distribution on December 19, 2016.

Tenth and Blake’s Daniel Imdieke Earns Master Cicerone Title

The Cicerone Certification Program today announced that Tenth and Blake Beer Company’s Daniel Imdieke has become one of just 13 individuals to earn the title of Master Cicerone. Imdieke earned the certification through a series of exams culminating with two days of intense written and oral questioning about beer styles, draft systems, beer evaluation, brewing technology and beer and food pairing given on October 25-26 in Chicago.

A beer garden and local sports atmosphere has arrived in Concourse B at John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) with global restaurateur HMSHost’s opening of Land-Grant Brewing Company last week. This new restaurant and bar opened on Friday and takes cues from the brewery of the same name in the East Franklinton neighborhood of Columbus.

Reverend Nat’s Hard Cider continues to produce ciders that no one else will make with the debut of their newest cider, “Wooden Hellfire,” a 16.6% ABV monster produced only with fresh apple juice and yeast, and left to age for over a year in Kentucky-sourced used bourbon barrels.

1933 Brewing Company Closing December 31, Undergoing Ownership Change

1933 Brewing Company in Fort Collins, Colorado, will close on Saturday, December 31, 2016. They opened in March 2014 as the 12th craft brewery in the area. The brewery has developed quite the local following in their midtown taproom, and regularly boasts something new on tap – including their famous Chili Beer and newest brew to be released on Wednesday, December 21, a stout made with LaMar’s Donuts and Woodchip Fire Roasted Coffee.

Urban Artifact Releasing Barrel-Aged Imperial Amber Lager

Urban Artifact, Cincinnati’s wild culture expert, is set to release the first barrel aged bottled beer offering since opening as draft-only in April 2015. A bottle launch in the brewery’s Northside taproom, located at 1660 Blue Rock Street, is set for December 16th at 4 pm. The initial launch will include Thoroughbred, which is a bourbon barrel aged imperial amber lager aged with Brettanomyces claussenii.
