In addition to their Limited Release Christmas Ale, Upslope Brewing Company has released two seasonal beers just in time for the holidays. This winter, fans can enjoy the brewery’s Limited Release Oatmeal Stout as well as the very limited, barrel-aged Lee Hill Series Volume 10: Wild Christmas Ale with Cranberries—which is a variation of Upslope’s popular Christmas Ale.
Nectar Creek announces plans to develop property in Philomath, OR, which will include a taproom and increased production space. Work on the project began in late October with a projected opening of summer 2017. Nectar Creek,founded by two brothers in 2012, has grown to be a leader and large contributor to the resurgence of the mead category in the Pacific Northwest with theirSession Meads–a style of mead that focuses on approachability and quality.
Regional craft brewery Ale Asylum has released their 2017 Distribution Calendar that includes an addition to their core brands, new brands, new styles, and imperial versions of established brands. “After 10 years of operating, it’s time to expand the bandwidth of our portfolio and our approach to an ever-changing market,” quotes Ale Asylum’s Co-Founder Otto Dilba. The brewery will kick off 2017 by releasing six-packs of Off Switch, a Double IPA that was also featured in their Feliz Gravitas holiday variety pack. From there on, the brewery is slated to release up to two seasonals per month through the end of the year.
Collective Arts Brewing has recently launched four new products as part of their Collective Project series. Imperial IPA, Black IPA, Imperial Porter and Pear Saison Cider are among the lineup, all released within five weeks of each other. Collective Projects are the company’s way of expressing their creativity. With their ethos of being creative in every aspect of their work, Collective Projects are what they described as a “liquid jam session.”

Third Space Brewing will begin offering tours of its brewing facility to the public on December 10. Tours will be offered Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00 and 3:00. Tours are limited to the first 25 people to sign up on site each day for each tour. Tour sign-ups will begin at the bar when the tap room opens at noon. Tours cost $10 and include a Third Space pint glass and two Third Space beers.
Yard House will celebrate 20 years as America’s destination for great food and craft beer by tapping 3 Degrees of Celebration, a Triple IPA brewed in a trifecta partnership with San Diego’s Green Flash Brewing Co. and Alpine Beer Company. The limited-release beer will be tapped at all locations on December 7th.

On December 5, 1933, Prohibition ended in the United States when 36 states (a three-fourths majority of the then 48 states) ratified the 21st Amendment to the United States Constitution.
