Madison, WI — Regional craft brewery Ale Asylum has released their 2017 Distribution Calendar that includes an addition to their core brands, new brands, new styles, and imperial versions of established brands. “After 10 years of operating, it’s time to expand the bandwidth of our portfolio and our approach to an ever-changing market,” quotes Ale Asylum’s Co-Founder Otto Dilba. The brewery will kick off 2017 by releasing six-packs of Off Switch, a Double IPA that was also featured in their Feliz Gravitas holiday variety pack. From there on, the brewery is slated to release up to two seasonals per month through the end of the year.

The 2017 calendar includes seven new brands: Dr. Vennum (Steam Punk IPA), Babadook (IPA), B2D2 (IPA), Wiskullsin (Pilsner Lager), Dim Reaper (Farmhouse Ale), Napalm Bunny (Double IPA), and Goddambergeddon (Imperial Amber).

The brewery will be releasing four new styles: Steam Punk IPA, Pilsner Lager, Farmhouse Ale, and Imperial Amber.

In addition, the brewery will be hosting the 2017 edition of Common Thread, a collaboration with local breweries to raise money and awareness for the Wisconsin Brewers Guild.

  • Hu$h Money, a Hallertau-hopped IPA that created a sensation when debuted earlier this year, will be offered in six-packs starting in August.
  • Wiskullsin IPA is a collaboration with Milwaukee-based merchandiser Wiskullsin.net and will be released around March Madness.
  • Ballistic IPA and Tripel Nova Belgian-style Tripel will be making a comeback.
  • Napalm Bunny and Goddambergeddon are not only fun to say but will be released as imperial versions of the brewery’s core brands: Velveteen Habit IPA and Ambergeddon Amber Ale.

In addition, the brewery will be hosting the 2017 edition of Common Thread, a collaboration with local breweries to raise money and awareness for the Wisconsin Brewers Guild.
