Mason Oktoberfest is excited to have breweries from all around Ohio plus food, music, and vendors

Mason Oktoberfest is happening at Sonder Brewing, and we’re excited to have breweries from all around Ohio join us for an awesome festival! Join us for German beers, festive food by BrewRiver, activities, and music!

Entry is free, but you can pre purchase a VIP package, including a Mason Oktoberfest 16 oz beer stein, sunglasses, enamel pin, traditional German hat, and one beer ticket. Drink your beer from your Oktoberfest Stein at the event and enjoy an extra 4 ounces every time you buy a beer! The first 150 VIP Packages are $30, and afterwards are $40 while supplies last. GERMAN BEER HOME BREW COMPETITION:
Mason Oktoberfest is having a home brew competition! Open to all Traditional German Style home brews, you will be allotted one beer entry per category. Each submission will be $10. Please confirm your entries for the competition by September 1st by purchasing tickets, home brews need to be dropped off at the brewery no later than September 23rd. Winners will be announced live at the event, and prizes will consist of medals, a personal in-depth tour of the brewery with Chase Legler and Luke Shropshire, beers from the bright tanks with the brewers, and a filled crowler of Sonder's Oktoberfest!

This is not a BCJP certified competition, but is being judged by BCJP rules and judges.

Categories allowed in this competition will be categories 4 Pale Malty Lager (4a Munich Helles, 4b Festbier, and 4c Helles Bock), 5 Pale Bitter Euro Beer (5a German Leichtbeer, 5b Kölsch, 5c German Helles Export, 5d German Pils), 6 Amber Malty Euro Lager (6a Märzen, 6b Rauchbier, 6c Dunkles Bock), 7 Amber Bitter Euro Beer (7b Altbier, 7c Kellerbier), 8 Dark Euro Lager (8a Munich Dunkel, 8b Schwarzbier), 9 Strong Euro Beers (9a Dopplebock, 9b Eisbock), 10 German Wheat (10a Weissbeer, 10b Dunkles Weissbeer, 10c Weizenbock), 23. Euro Sour Beer (23a. Berliner Weisse) Please note, we are only accepting unfruited Berliner Weisse
