Sunrise Beverages, which owns a portfolio of independent beer brands, has made a £25,000 investment in London’s leading space for contemporary culture, the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), securing a two-year partnership.
Sunrise is in a period of growth, having acquired a number of brands over the last few years with the aim of growing them while preserving their own identities. It was through one of these brands that the opportunity to invest in the Institute came about.
“The account with the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) came to us through EFES, which we are the UK licensee for. As a company we have bold ambitions and are committed to growth. Investing in venues and being able to give back to the people and places that support our brands is all part of our ongoing strategy,” says Richard Mather, Chief Executive of Sunrise Beverages.
The £25,000 investment will be used to refurbish the bar area at the ICA. Managed in partnership with Bistroteque, the bar stocks two Sunrise brands on draft, EFES and Hepcat draft, and packaged beers from the wider portfolio.
“We are thrilled to have secured a two-year partnership with such an established venue, which will increase product visibility for all Sunrise beverages served at the ICA, including prominent placement on all Self Ordering Units and inclusion of our logo on menus and bar promotions,” adds Richard.
Sunrise Beverages is an independent UK brewing group that owns and nurtures a portfolio of authentic premium beer brands, including Efes, Orion, St Peter's, Gipsy Hill, Curious and Portobello.
