Straight To Ale Brewing Launches New Brew for Whole Foods Market

Straight To Ale Brewing has teamed up with Whole Foods Market South Region to introduce a new line of experimental brews called Rumble Seat Beer Project. The first iteration of Rumble Seat Beer Project includes an India Pale Ale, a Citrus Witte, and an Imperial Red. All three beers were brewed exclusively for Whole Foods Market by Straight To Ale and will hit shelves Labor Day weekend across the Southeast in Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

Fremont Brewing Launches Field to Ferment Fresh Hop Pale Ale

Fremont Brewing of Seattle, Washington will launch a new Fall seasonal called Field to Ferment Fresh Hop Pale Ale. Fremont will brew this fresh hop ale throughout the entire hop harvest in Yakima, using four individual hop varieties as they are harvested. The first release will feature the early harvest Centennial hops from Carpenter Ranches and will be released at its freshest in the first week of September. Subsequent single fresh hop brews will be produced with different hop varieties according to the order of their harvest: Simcoe, Citra, and finally Mosaic. Field to Ferment will be available through September.

Portland Brewing’s Noble Scot Returns

Portland Brewing’s Scottish Festival is back again to launch fall seasonal Noble Scot Ale. The family-friendly affair features traditional Scottish dance, bagpipe performances, highland games, face painting, a photo booth, live music from local Celtic fusion band, Beltaine, and of course, Portland Brewing’s Noble Scot Ale. The outdoor celebration is free to attend and all ages are welcome. This year, Celtic music media company, 67 music, will be emceeing the event.

Brewers of Pennsylvania to Host Mid-Atlantic Brewers’ Symposium

The Brewers of Pennsylvania (BOP), the state’s official brewers guild, will host the second annual Mid-Atlantic Brewers’ Symposium, which will feature a keynote address from Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) Chairman, Tim Holden. The important one-day event on Friday, September 30 will feature ten 45 minute seminars from leaders of the craft brewing industry. The Mid-Atlantic Brewers’ Symposium will take place at the Artsquest Center at Steel Stacks in Bethlehem, Pa.

Wicked Weed and Create Comforts Collaborate to Produce ‘Juiceless’ IPA

Wicked Weed Brewing has announced the release of Juiceless IPA, a collaboration with Creature Comforts Brewing Co. based in Athens, Georgia. Juiceless will be released on Saturday, August 27th at Wicked Weed’s Funkatorium location. Following the initial release, Juiceless will be distributed in Atlanta and Athens, Georgia as well as throughout North Carolina starting on September 1st.

Flying Fish Brewing Co. to Release 3 Specialty Beers

New Jersey’s most award-winning craft brewer, Flying Fish Brewing Co., couldn’t decide on one specialty beer to mark its 20th anniversary, so its BrewCrew is releasing three new Exit Series™ limited-release craft beverages to mark the occasion. Sour Forage Beer from Exit 5, featuring hints of the New Jersey Pinelands, Pork Roll Porter from Exit 7, a toast to New Jersey’s favorite breakfast meat, as well as Imperial Pilsner from Exit 14, will all be launched with a ceremonial tapping on Thursday, 9.1.16 at Flying Fish’s Somerdale brewery headquarters at 4 p.m.

Craft Brew Alliance’s long-term route to market in the U.S. — and perhaps its future ownership structure — became clearer this week after the publicly traded craft beer maker unveiled enhanced distribution and contract brewing agreements with its largest individual shareholder, Anheuser-Busch InBev.

Red Brick Brewing to Cease Distribution of Bottles

Georgia’s oldest craft brewery, Red Brick Brewing Co., announced that it will no longer produce bottled beer for distribution beginning in January 2017. The brewery’s current offerings consist of canned and bottled products for its core and seasonal releases. Red Brick has seen significant growth from its canned offerings that debuted at the end of 2014 with the Laughing Skull Amber Ale. Red Brick will continue to offer limited quantities of special release bottles as part of its Brick & Mortar series available only at the brewery.

(CBA) (Nasdaq: BREW) and Anheuser-Busch (AB) announced today a series of new commercial agreements that expand and strengthen the companies’ long-term relationship and create new growth opportunities for both companies. The agreements include an amended and extended master distribution agreement, a new contract brewing arrangement, and a new international distribution agreement.

CBA Extends Distribution Agreement with A-B InBev; International Distribution and Contract Brewing Components Added

Craft Brew Alliance and Anheuser-Busch InBev today announced a new set of commercial agreements that will give the smaller CBA guaranteed distribution via A-B’s wholesalers in the U.S. through 2028 and expanded access to a variety of international markets as well as brewing capacity at many of the larger company’s 12 brewery locations. In a joint announcement, the two companies said the new arrangements would “expand and strengthen the companies’ long-term relationship and create new growth opportunities for both companies.”
