Today, the first beers of 2017 from The Bruery and Bruery Terreux were released to Hoarders Society, Reserve Society and Preservation Society members. It’s the first round of allocations to 2017 members, including Society exclusive beers and brands that will see national release.
Kicking off their 20th anniversary year, Founders will release Frootwood, a cherry ale aged in oak barrels that have previously held both bourbon and maple syrup, as the first release in their Barrel-Aged Series.

Additions to their year-round offerings include Bobcat Blonde, a pilsner that will be bottled for the first time in 2017, as well as their Easy Hike Sesion IPA. Adirondack will continue their Beer of the Month program, which consists of limited, draft only releases. Notable releases include a Peanut Butter Porter, brewed with over 3 lbs/bbl of peanut butter in February, the release of a brand new IPA in June, dubbed ‘Lake George’s IPA’, and the return of their Cucumber Sour in July.
Kicking off the New Year by shipping beer from breweries on both coasts, Green Flash Brewing Co. announces plans for their 2017 product lineup. Hop heavyweight and cult-favorite, Palate Wrecker Imperial IPA will be returning, available in 6-packs and on draft beginning in February for a limited time. The brand will also introduce GFB Blonde Ale – a crowd-pleasing and drinkable new option which will be available on draft in January, followed by cans in the Spring, with plans to release bottles in 2018. Green Flash is now producing and shipping beers from both the San Diego and Virginia Beach breweries. They will continue production of all front-line beers released in 2016, as well as rotate several new limited-release offerings into the mix from Green Flash Cellar 3 throughout 2017.

Anheuser-Busch InBev and Keurig Green Mountain have signed an agreement to enter into a research and development-driven joint venture that will be tasked with inventing an in-home alcohol drink system, the two companies announced today. Specific financial terms of the transaction, including ownership percentages, were not disclosed and the deal is expected to close during the first quarter.

Pliny the Younger will make his 14th Annual return to Russian River Brewing Company February 3rd through February 16th, 2017! Paradox Brewery is proud to announce its beer lineup for 2017. The release calendar includes the entire Off Trail Series of one-off beers for the year excluding a few yet to be announced collaboration beers. Some highlights include an imperial stout brewed with vanilla beans, “Oats & Gose” a dry-hopped kettle sour, and a steam beer brewed with spruce tips. Off Trail Series beers are draft only. Also featured is the complete Forever Wild Series lineup for 2017. These beers are not given specific release dates due to the unpredictable nature of brettanomyces fermentation in oak barrels.
