The Ohio Craft Brewers Association announced today that it has appointed Justin Hemminger to the position of communications manager. As the market for Ohio-made craft beer continues to expand, this position was created to serve and promote the association’s rapidly growing membership. Currently, the association represents 129 active brewery members, up from 32 in May of 2013.
For the first time in more than a decade the craft beer category failed to grow double-digits, according to new data from market research firm IRI Worldwide. In its latest report, IRI noted that craft dollar sales at U.S. supermarkets grew just 6.9 percent in 2016, to more than $2.28 billion, while volume sales grew at an even slower 4 percent clip.

This Belgian-style Quadrupel Ale will be available bottled and on tap from the New Year through early spring—with distribution to bottle shops and tap houses around Oregon and parts of Washington.
