The country’s largest craft brewery, Boston Beer Company, last week reported fourth quarter depletions growth of 20 percent and net revenue of $205.4 million, an increase of $52.4 million over the same period last year. The company’s full-year depletions grew 23 percent while production volumes increased 25 percent, to about 3.4 million barrels.
Oskar Blues Brewery is making good on a promise to aggressively expand its distribution footprint in 2014. The Longmont, Colo.-based craft brewery has signed a wholesale agreement with Wirtz Beverage Group and will enter Nevada on Monday, Feb. 24.

As part of its strategy to improve gross margins, CBA is planning to grow by about 100,000 barrels annually via a contract brewing arrangement with City Brewing in Memphis, Tenn. The multi-year deal is technically an alternating proprietorship, meaning a CBA brewer will be permanently stationed in Memphis to oversee all aspects of the brewing operations.
