NEW ORLEANS – Urban South Brewery is proud to unveil the refreshed brand identity of Stratus, marking a new chapter for one of its flagship THC beverages. Now reintroduced as Stratus Spritz, the rebrand brings both a vibrant new look and a shift in positioning. The updated design embraces a brighter, more refined aesthetic, featuring a crisp color palette and clean, modern elements that evoke a light, uplifting drinking experience.
While Stratus was originally introduced as a THC seltzer, evolving market conditions and Louisiana regulations limiting THC beverages to 5 mg per serving created an opportunity to rethink the product’s identity. At the same time, increasing saturation within the seltzer category prompted Urban South to differentiate Stratus by repositioning it as a spritz—an elevated, flavor-forward alternative that emphasizes drinkability and a more lifestyle-driven appeal.
“This rebrand represents an important evolution for Stratus,” said Jacob Landry, Co-Founder of Urban South Brewery. “We saw an opportunity to refine both the product and its positioning to better meet the market, while still delivering a refreshing, enjoyable experience for our customers.”
Stratus Spritz is currently available in Peach Spritz and Watermelon Spritz, with an additional tropical flavor slated for release soon.
Stratus Spritz is now available throughout Urban South’s distribution network in a variety of THC strengths, tailored to meet state-specific regulations. Availability may vary by location.
