MillerCoors is known for packaging innovations like the vortex bottle, the aluminum pint, punch top cans and The Home Draft Box and now the company is adding boxed cider to that list. The country’s second-largest brewer today announced plans to release boxed, non-carbonated hard cider via the recently acquired Crispin Cider and Fox Barrel brands.

ST. LOUIS, MO – Grey Eagle Distributors, the Anheuser-Busch wholesaler for St. Louis County, has agreed to purchase Illinois Distribution Company, an Anheuser-Busch wholesaler based in Belleville, Ill. The agreement allows Grey Eagle to acquire Illinois Distributing’s assets and sales territory which includes most of St. Clair County, Monroe County, Collinsville and Granite City.
