This holiday season, Moody Tongue (2136 S. Peoria St.), the culinary brewery in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, is giving their guests the gift of truffles with its Shaved Black Truffle Pilsner available on draft for the first time ever. Beginning Friday, December 2nd at 5 p.m., guests will be able to sip and savor the extravagant and extremely limited beer in the Tasting Room at Moody Tongue.
Ibosim BrewHouse microbrewery on the island of Ibiza in Spain has apologized for their Hindu deities—Shiva, Kali, Ganesha and Hanuman—beers. In an email on November 29 to Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, who spearheaded the protest, Ibiza Beer Company (Ibosim Craft Beers), wrote: In any case were our intentions to offend in any way any religious sensitivities and, if that has been the case, we offer our most sincere apologies.
Three months after departing Duvel USA, beer industry veteran Simon Thorpe has been tapped as the new CEO of Pabst Brewing Company. Thorpe — whose career also includes stints with InBev, Crayola, Kellogg’s, Tambrands and Unilever — will take over the CEO position from Eugene Kashper, who will continue to serve as a principal owner and the full-time chairman of the Pabst board.

As Perrin Brewing continues to rapidly grow within its home state of Michigan and throughout the United States, they’re thrilled to announce distribution in the Florida market beginning in February with the launch of a specialty collaboration brew. To kick off this new launch, Perrin has invited their fellow brewery partners at Oskar Blues Brewery and Cigar City Brewing to create a one-time batch of an Imperial Oatmeal Stout, “Triangulation”. This collaboration will take place on December 1st.
Upper Hand Brewery will be heading to Minnesota in January 2017, making it the third state where the brewery distributes its beer. Upper Hand beer is also available in Michigan¹s Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin.

Today, Green Flash Brewing co announces the release of the third limited-edition, rare beer in their Cellar 3 Barrelmaster’s Reserve series, Divine Enebro. Divine Enebro is a classic Belgian-style Tripel that has been aged in gin barrels with added botanicals to mimic the flavors found in classic gin cocktails. Only 600 of the bottles have been produced and they will be sold on a first come, first served basis at Cellar 3 on December 10th, with a limit of 2 bottles per person.
