Bend, OR — Crux Fermentation Project is delighted to announce that they have selected craft industry veteran, Jason Randles, to run their marketing and branding efforts.

With founder Paul Evers stepping down from the day-to-day role, Crux was looking to bring on someone who could not only take over where Evers left off, but had the experience to lead the brewery to the next level. Having spent the last 17 years honing his marketing skills at Deschutes Brewery, where he once worked with Crux founder Larry Sidor and head brewer Cam O’Connor, Randles was the inherent choice.

“Telling the story of a small independent brewery such as Crux is crucial to it’s success. The integrity of that story is extremely important to me,” says Founder and Brewmaster, Larry Sidor.  “I worked with Jason in the past and he has demonstrated the integrity we were looking for.  We’re super excited to have Jason on the Crux team and look forward to having the next great beer with him.”

Randles said, “Crux has built up a highly respected brand in the Pacific Northwest over the past few years so it is an honor to pick up that “torch” and carry it forward at a time when the brewery is really hitting its stride.”
