Rich Pascucci, who most recently served as the chief growth officer for Pabst Brewing Company, has been tapped to help lead Evolution Spirits, makers of Monkey Rum. Pascucci joined Evolution Spirits earlier this month and will serve as its chief growth officer and head of sales. Nine Pin Cider Works, New York’s first farm cidery, has announced they will begin distributing their cider products throughout the State of Connecticut in partnership with the Berkshire Brewing Company (BBC). Nine Pin’s entry into Connecticut marks the second state, following Massachusetts, where Nine Pin Cider can be found outside of the company’s home state of New York. Starting this month, Connecticut cider drinkers will begin to find Nine Pin cans, bottles, and draft options at select locations.
On Wednesday, September 6 – the same day as the Full Corn Moon, the final full moon before the Harvest Moon in October – Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant will release Pumpkin Ale in cans.
