Sweetwater Brewing is expanding its reach in Florida, adding Tampa and St. Petersburg-Clearwater markets through Pepin and Great Bay Distributors – both of which distribute Anheuser-Busch products and an array of craft brands. What initially began as an April Fool’s Day prank has turned into reality. The Denver-based Wynkoop Brewing released a spoof video on April 1st which indicated that the company would be making a beer with bull testicles.
The country’s third largest craft brewer, New Belgium Brewing, likes what it is getting from social media. The company said recently that it had conducted a successful social media campaign over the summer, adding nearly 50,000 facebook fans and 10,000 twitter followers in the span of just three months.
