Two Roads Brewing Company Enters Maine

Two Roads Brewing Company of Stratford, CT announced today that the brand will be rolling into the state of Maine and they are pleased to be teaming up with Nappi Distributors and Pine State Traders. The launch will begin the week of October 19th with a series of kick-off events throughout the state. Maine is now the eighth state to distribute the Two Roads brand.

New York’s First Organic Beer to Hit Shelves This Fall

New Yorkers will find a new beer on shelves this fall from Smart Beer, the first organic beer company born and bred in New York. The brand, which is headquartered in New Paltz, in the heart of the Hudson Valley, will release its first flagship brew, Organic Golden Ale, set to arrive in bars, restaurants and retailers across the state this month.

Genesee Brewery Launches New Salted Caramel Chocolate Porter

Genesee announced it will release its hugely popular small-batch beer, Salted Caramel Chocolate Porter, in four-pack bottles just in time for the holiday season. The brew is the latest addition to the Genesee Brew House Pilot Batch series, a collection of beers originally crafted on a 20-barrel pilot system. Now, the decadent porter will be available to consumers throughout the Northeast, including Cleveland and Pittsburgh.

The initial public offering (IPO) is valued at $172.5 million, according to filings, and underwriters include Goldman, Sachs & Co., Morgan Stanley, Baird, BMO Capital, Cowen and Company and Nomura. Ballast Point’s proposed NASDAQ Global Select Market symbol is “PINT.”
