Peak Organic Brewing once again takes a unique approach to seasonal releases, marrying a Winter beer with a hop-forward Session IPA. As the colder weather approaches and beer drinkers are greeted by rich, roasty stouts and porters, Peak is excited to mix it up with their Winter Session – a dry-hopped dark wheat ale, combining the delicious fruity hoppiness of a session IPA with the rich, toasty body of a classic Winter ale.

Evans Brewing Company has announced the release of four bottled beers that will constitute the core of initial year-round packaged offerings produced at its Orange County, California brewery. The first four packaged year-round beers offered by Evans Brewing are Pollen Nation Honey Blonde Ale™, The KrHOPen India Pale Ale™, Oaklore Brown Ale™, and ChocoLatté Chocolate Porter™, each of which features vivid designed, hand drawn artwork and custom die cut labels highlighting the outline shape of California where the beers are brewed. The four core packaged Evans beers are expected to be joined in the future by additional year-round packaged brews and a rotating cast of seasonal offerings released periodically throughout the year.
Sweetwater Brewing is on the move in Alabama again, this time transitioning away from Supreme Beverage, a MillerCoors wholesaler in the Northern part of the state, and into the Anheuser-Busch network. The Atlanta-based craft brewery said it has instead signed contracts with four new A-B wholesalers — Turner Beverage, Greene Beverage, Valley Budweiser and Shoals Distributing — for coverage north of Birmingham.
Mavericks Brewing, an independent craft brewing company devoted to creating innovative American craft beer in cans, is adding two more beers to its portfolio this month: the Big Break Belgian Golden Strong Ale, which received the gold medal for best French/Belgian Ale at the 2015 U.S. Open Beer Championships, and the Coastside Pilsner, which received the silver medal for Premium American Lager at the 2015 California State Fair. The two beers join the Tunnel Vision IPA, Belgian Style Wit, and Rye Pale Ale in the Mavericks product lineup.
Schlafly Beer, the largest independent and locally owned craft brewery in Missouri, announces the release of White Lager, available now through March 2016. The German-style beer offers an unfiltered twist on traditional lagers. The style dates back to the Middle Ages with a noticeably hazy, golden hue, hint of orange zest, and silky finish.

In an effort to improve the labeling requirements of certain gluten-free products, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has proposed new rules on the designation for producers of fermented, distilled or hydrolyzed foods, including beer. The proposed compliance stipulations build on a 2013 ruling that defined the term “gluten-free” for voluntary use in labeling.

Bold Rock Hard Cider announces production has started at its new cidery in Mills River, N.C. In mid November a hard-working team of skilled cider makers started crushing and crafting fresh local apples to make Bold Rock’s awardwinning hard cider. This marks a significant move in the expansion of the regional craft cidery that has steadily increased East Coast distribution and is now offered from Pennsylvania through South Carolina.
Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is launching Otra Vez, an incredibly refreshing gose-style ale that will join the brewery’s year-round lineup. Craft drinkers can find Otra Vez on retail shelves starting January 2016.
We’re happy to announce the continuation of our experimental beer program with our latest addition: Big Burn Imperial IPA. Originally we we’re set to brew this beer during the month of September- when the boys from Point Blank Distributing in Portland we’re scheduled to hang at the brewery for a couple days. Turned out that Mother Nature wasn’t quite up for that- as much of Wallowa County (and Eastern Oregon) was battling blazes from multiple wild fires.
Beer fans near and far will soon be able to enjoy Reuben’s Brews. This month, the Ballard brewery signed an agreement with Bellingham’s Dickerson Distributors to bring Reuben’s bottles and draft beer to Whatcom, Skagit, Island and San Juan Counties.
Saucony Creek Brewing Co. officially announces the official news that their beers areofficially available in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The Pennsylvania based brewery, founded by former action sports athlete and X Games star Matt Lindenmuth, has had a busy fall. In late September they started off with a bang, by winning the prestigious GABF Gold Medal, in the Belgian-Style Fruit Beer Category. Around the same time, they began planning their release into the lower New England states with their distribution partner, Atlantic Importing & Distributing Co. of Framingham, MA, over some beers of course.
