Devil’s Canyon Releases Silicon Blonde Ale in New Package Format

Devil’s Canyon Silicon Blonde Ale

San Carlos, CA – Only days after announcing the release of their new Western IPA as core brand offering, Devil’s Canyon Brewery continues to delight fans by revealing they are adding their popular Silicon Blonde Ale to their 22oz bomber line up.

Previously only available on draught and in growlers, Silicon Blonde is now shipping to distributors in California, Nevada, Arizona and Washington and will start appearing at retail accounts in late January.

Described as a velvety mix of lightly roasted biscuit and honey malts with a caramel aroma and a subtle, piney hop finish, Silicon Blonde ale is brewed to be light bodied, crisp and refreshing. At a modest 6% ABV., the golden-colored delight is exceptionally drinkable and pairs well with savory, spicy and rich foods.

An examination of the bottle’s artwork reveals subtle references honoring the pioneering spirits of an area now most associated with technology but one that was once known by ranchers and farmers as the Valley of the Heart’s Delight.

In addition to Silicon Blonde, Devil’s Canyon has four other offerings available in the 22oz Bomber format:

  • Full Boar Scotch Ale – a mildly smoky blend of peated malts, rich flavors of caramel, overtones of chocolate and a slight hint of coffee.
  • California Sunshine Rye IPA – exceptionally well balanced with assertive hop bitterness, a toasty and bready malt mouth-feel, and a grassy, dry finish.
  • Deadicated Amber Ale – pours a beautiful tawny color with a fine lace head. The malts and hops create a balance that adds subtle notes of sweetness, toasted biscuit, and caramel.
  • Western IPA – Tropical fruit aromas and cypress resin are immediately apparent while ruby red grapefruit, pineapple, and passion fruit tones contrast an assertive bitterness.
