Today, Buffalo Wild Wings, Inc. (NASDAQ: BWLD) announced it will offer fans a brand new craft beer brewed by Lagunitas Brewing Company and designed as the perfect complement to eating wings and watching sports. Fandom Ale is a hoppy pale wheat ale that will be available on tap in all Buffalo Wild Wings locations throughout the United States for a limited time beginning today.

Two Roads Embarks on $12 Million Expansion Project

Two Roads Brewing Company today said it would spend $12 million to expand its operations with the addition of a new 25,000 sq. ft. brewery and barrel-aging facility adjacent to its existing location in Stratford, Connecticut. Situated on 2.5 acres, the new facility — which the company said would be dedicated to the production of sour and barrel-aged beers — will feature a 50-barrel brewhouse, foeders, a coolship and space for 2,000 wooden barrels.

Hi-Wire Brewing Reformulates Hi-Pitch IPA

Hi-Pitch IPA, known for balancing a sturdy malt backbone with citrus-forward aromas and a lingering bitterness, now features Mosaic hops in place of Zythos. Timing of hop additions has also changed, with more emphasis on late additions and dry hopping to give Hi-Pitch Mosaic IPA huge levels of hop flavor and aroma without adding large amounts of bitterness. A simplified malt bill was also created to let the hops shine.

Constellation Brands to Buy Grupo Modelo Brewing Facility for $600 Million

Constellation Brands, which owns the Corona and Modelo brand rights in the U.S., today announced plans to purchase the Obregon, Mexico brewery from Grupo Modelo, an Anheuser-Busch InBev subsidiary, for $600 million. In a press statement, the company said it would submit a proposal to the U.S. Department of Justice, and also noted that the brewery purchase would allow Constellation to “become fully independent from the interim supply agreement with Grupo Modelo.”
