Dry Dock Brewing Company has partnered with Ska Brewing Company to expand its distribution to seven counties in the Southwest corner of the state. Dry Dock’s award-winning beers are now available in Durango, Colorado.

For the final week of September and full month of October 2016, ThirstyBear introduces four new beers, including their 20TH ANNIVERSARY WET HOP HARVEST ALE, THE DECEIVER (American Tripel Double IPA), OATGRIST (English Brown Ale), and BLACK BEAR LAGER (German-style Schwarzbier).

Today, Paul J. Bertucci, executive vice president of F.E.B. Distributing Company, Inc. in Gulfport and Capital City Beverages, Inc. in Jackson, Mississippi, assumed the position of 2016-2017 chairman of the Board of Directors for the National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA) at the association’s 79th Annual Convention in Chicago, Illinois. As chairman, Bertucci will help guide the association as it advocates for licensed, independent beer distributors and educates elected officials, regulators, media and the public about the value of America’s open and independent distribution system and state-based alcohol regulation.

Creature Comforts Brewing Company recently collaborated with Arizona Wilderness Brewing Company to brew Transmission, a Citrus Saison. The beer was packaged in 750-mL bottles and will be released September 29 at Creature Comforts.

Upslope Brewing Company and two local startups, Boom Algae and Living Ink Technologies, begin a collaborative project to turn brewery waste into a 100% biodegradable, non-petroleum-based, algae-ink. The system is a unique bioreactor designed to function as a zero-waste system.
