Ekos, a Charlotte-based brewery management software firm, announces it surpasses the 500 mark on breweries who have signed up for their Brewmaster product. Ekos Brewmaster is a cloud-based brewery management system that brings all of the different functions of the brewery, from inventory, planning, and beer production to sales, into one easily-accessible platform. Brewmaster also integrates seamlessly with QuickBooks, and automatically generates TTB reports.
Roughtail Brewing Company is pleased to announce that it is expanding it’s distribution outside of Oklahoma. Roughtail has signed a statewide distribution agreement with Worldwide Beverage of Lenexa, KS beginning April 1st.

World of Beer, the Tampa-based craft tavern concept featuring 550+ craft and international beers, today announced it has signed a franchise agreement to expand internationally for the first time. The new tavern will be located in Shanghai, China and is slated to open in the second quarter of this year. Franchisee Cong Yin and his two partners plan to open at least three locations in Shanghai over the next three years.

Widmer Brothers Brewing and Breakside Brewery recently partnered to brew four different single-hop pale ales, each featuring a new experimental hop varietal. The four beers – called Catharsis, Last Roman, Sin and Grace, and Cheap Seats – are now pouring at Widmer Brothers Brewing and Pub.

Less than six months after exile from its original home – thanks to Denver’s insatiable real estate development – River North Brewery returns with new digs and a quest for vengeance…or just brewing. On Saturday, April 2nd, the brewery will open its new expanded facility at 6021 Washington Street, Unit A in Denver. At close to 9,000 square feet, the new location is double the size of the original. It includes a new brewhouse, more tanks, and a larger taproom.

Stone Brewing Co. is nearly national and the San Diego-based craft beer maker said it plans to be distributing in all 50 states before the end of 2016. It will move one step closer today, as it rolls out throughout Arkansas, its 42nd state. Michigan’s Bell’s Brewery, meanwhile, said it will continue its 2016 distribution expansion in May with forays into Nebraska, South Dakota and Kansas.
