Maui Brewing Company has announced distribution plans, partnering with Cavalier Distributing as their distributor for Indiana and Ohio. Cavalier also distributes MBC in Florida. Beginning the week of July 4, Cavalier will distribute draught and package versions of Maui’s flagship beers including Bikini Blonde Lager, Big Swell IPA, Coconut Hiwa Porter, and Pineapple Mana Wheat, as well as seasonal and limited releases as they are available.

Breckenridge Brewery has released a specialty series that captures the essence of its new 12-acre expanse in Colorado. The first release in the Brewery Lane Series, announced today, is Imperial White IPA. Belgian yeast presents aromas of honey, clove, and banana. Citra and Amarillo hops impart pleasant hop flavor and add aromas of tropical fruit and pine.
Redhook Brewery is celebrating the Fourth of July with a new brew, American Pale Ale. This hoppy addition to Redhook’s year-round lineup, featuring classic red, white and blue packaging, will be available nationally starting in July 2016.
In just 40 months, popular Boston-based craft brewery Trillium has gone from a hard to obtain brand to one that is currently producing at a run rate of about 20,000 barrels. But the uptick in production hasn’t made the company’s beer any easier to find around town. The brewery, which celebrated its third anniversary in March, expects to produce about 12,000 barrels in 2015. That’s up from just 2,500 barrels one year ago.
Danny Boy Beer Works, a fast-growing Indiana craft brewery, has begun distributing its line of craft beers in cans to the state of Michigan. Prior to this week, the cans were only available in Indiana.
Boston Beer Company last week named former Moet Hennessy executive Jonathan Potter as its chief marketing officer, a newly created position for the country’s second-largest craft beer producer. Potter, who will officially join Boston Beer in August, most recently worked as the managing director for Moet Hennessy’s Chandon California division and had previously served as that company’s CMO and executive vice president between 2012 and 2015.
