Beau’s All Natural Launches Rwanda Craft Brewery Project

Eastern Ontario craft brewery Beau’s All Natural has announced that it has launched a project that will help a female entrepreneur start up a locally owned and operated craft brewery in the African republic of Rwanda. Beau’s will be providing financing, expertise, and hands-on employee training to the start-up brewery, and has sourced brewing equipment from industry suppliers. Beau’s is also launching a Kickstarter campaign for the Rwanda Craft Brewery Project that aims to raise $95,000 in donations over the next two months to fund the purchase of a bottling line.

Evans Brewing Company Appoints New Director of Brewing

Southern California craft beer producer Evans Brewing Company today announced the hiring of Kevin Hammons, an experienced craft brewer and brewery manager, to serve as Director of Brewing at the company’s Orange County, California brewery. As Director of Brewing, Mr. Hammons will be responsible for brewing operations, quality control, brewery team management, and related areas.

Newburyport Brewing Company Invests in Rhode Island Contract Outfit

Newburyport Brewing Company today announced an investment into Isle Brewers Guild, a $12 million Rhode Island-based craft brewing cooperative currently being built in Pawtucket. Newburyport is the second craft beer company to invest in the Isle Brewers Guild (IBG), which aims to attract mid to large-scale craft breweries in need of extra capacity.

Fort Collins Brewery and Farnam House Brewing Release Collaboration Beer

On Tuesday October 4th, Fort Collins Brewery and Farnam House Brewing out of Nebraska will be releasing an ancient-style ale called The Golden Standard. Reinheitsgebot, or German Purity Law, has reigned for 500 years and limits beer brewing to basic ingredients: water, hops, barley and later yeast. The Golden Standard will deviate from the purity law and revisit the pre-reinheitsgebot era of beer expanding outside those main ingredients.
