$460 Million Investment on Tap at Labatt Breweries of Canada

In addition to the $2 billion it will spend on capital expenditure projects in the U.S. over the next four years, Anheuser-Busch InBev, via its Labatt Breweries subsidiary, plans to spend $460 million to improve operations at its six Canadian breweries. Following the investments, which are slated to conclude in 2020, Labatt Breweries will have spent more than $1 billion over a nine-year period, the company said in a press release.

t’s been 74 years since Col. Samuel Grashio made one of the most daring escapes in American military history, but his memory is alive and well with the release of No-Li Brewhouse’s We Are Spokane Golden Ale. The Spokane brewery’s 22-ounce bottle tells the story of Grashio, who was born and raised in the Lilac City and went on to become an Army Air Corps pilot during World War II, eventually retiring as a colonel. The story is close to the heart of No-Li, as co-owner Cindy Bryant is a relative of Col. Grashio.

Saints Row Brewing to Open Tasting Room in Rockville, Maryland

Transwestern today announced it represented local brewery startup Saints Row Brewing in the lease for its first retail store and tasting room, a 3,000-square-foot flex space at 1211 – 1213 Taft St. in Rockville, Maryland. Transwestern Senior Vice President Ethan Bernardi and Vice President Nathan Bortnick represented Saints Row in the transaction.
