We’re excited to announce The Parking Lot Grissette, our collaboration with Wicked Weed Brewing in Asheville, North Carolina! As Wicked Weed mentioned in their post below, the beer was born out of a mutual friendship and love of rock climbing. It’s also the type of beer we often enjoy drinking the most — dry, tart, low alcohol, hoppy, with some interesting yeast character!
Atlanta’s Second Self Beer Company has brought back its seasonal Citrus IPA. This beer has everything you need to get excited for spring. It’s brewed with citrusy hops (Columbus, Amarillo, Citra), lemon, orange, and grapefuit peel, then dry-hopped with more Amarillo for added hoppy citrus punch. The aroma is sweet, yet the taste is dry with a great robust IPA finish.

We are saddened to report the Lost Highway Black Lager is officially lost – to New Jersey. A homage to legendary Alabamian Hank Williams, a reflection of the actual highway running through the heart of this state, now belongs to a wine importer in New Jersey. And the federal trademark folks have ruled that wine is too similar to beer, there could be confusion between an Alabama six-pack and the importer of expensive wines, a ruling we did not anticipate when we first began to sell Lost Highway Black Lager in 2010.
