ATLANTA — SweetWater 420 Festival left fans thirsty for more as they unveiled a portion of their musical lineup earlier this February.

Brewbound will travel to Atlanta next Monday, Feb. 24, to host Brew Talks, a free educational and networking meetup for beer industry professionals. The event, which will be hosted at SweetWater Brewing Company, will feature two panel discussions on the business of craft beer.

Brewbound today announced the official dates, times and venues for its upcoming Brew Talks Southeast Tour, sponsored by Crown Beverage Packaging and VicinityBrew. Atlanta’s Sweetwater Brewing today announced the hiring of Kimberly Jones, who has been named the company’s new chief financial officer, according to a release. Jones, who most recently served as vice president and corporate controller with SPANX, an Atlanta-based women’s apparel company, brings more than 15 years of executive financial and management experience to Sweetwater.

SweetWater Brewery has inked a deal with River City Distributing for expansion into Louisville, Ky. Louisville is the third Kentucky market that SweetWater has entered this year, following new distribution in Lexington and Northern Kentucky. Prior to its arrival in Kentucky, the Georgia-based brewery had not expanded into a new state since 2008.
