Braxton Brewing Announces Release of ‘Dark Charge’ Imperial Stout

Braxton Brewing Company will be releasing the first beer in their Heritage Series on Saturday, December 5, 2015. Dark Charge, an Imperial Stout, will be released in 22 oz. bottles along with three variants: Bourbon Barrel-Aged, Bourbon Barrel-Aged with Vanilla, and Bourbon Barrel-Aged with Starter Coffee. These bottles will be released during the Braxton Block Party.

Upslope Brewing Releases Christmas Ale

Upslope Brewing Company’s Christmas Ale is coming down the chimney just in time for the holidays. The Limited Release Belgian-style Dubbel brewed with holiday spices will decorate liquor store shelves in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, New Mexico, Texas and Arizona starting the first week in November. For the first time, the popular Christmas Ale will be sold in four-packs of 12 oz. cans.

Ninkasi Brewing is expanding its reach in the east once again. The rapidly growing craft brewery, based in Eugene, Ore., today announced it would add permanent distribution throughout the Philadelphia area next month. In a press statement, the company said it had signed agreements with Gretz Beer Co. and Penn Beer.

Taking inspiration from the game, Pyramid Breweries recently teamed up with the Portland Trail Blazers to create its newest, limited-edition beer – Reigning 3s. This unfiltered White Pale Ale is Pyramid’s take on its own 3-pointer – using a combination of Cascade, Apollo and Lemon Drop hops. With 5.5% ABV, this beer rates 30 on the IBU scale. Due to limited availability fans will have to travel to “Rip City” to get a shot of this brew.

Using a combination of bank debt, cash flow and equity financing, the company acquired the property adjacent to its original brewpub last year, and recently began initial phases of demolition and construction on a new cellaring facility.
