Maui Brewing Company Releases Haleakala Sunryes IPA in Cans

While not a new beer to some, Maui Brewing Company will release Haleakala Sunryes IPA in cans for a limited time to coincide with the park’s Centennial Anniversary. This medium-bodied India Pale Ale has a deep dark copper appearance, while the rye adds an earthy and spicy character complementing the bitterness of the hops.

Santa Fe Brewing Company Releases Native Amalia Hopped Beer

Another great homegrown-hopped beer is coming to Santa Fe Brewing Company (SFBC), and once again, we couldn’t be more excited to support local! Amalia hops, one of the two hop varieties, native to New Mexico, was recently harvested from Santa Fe Brewing Company’s hop farm and found it’s way into Santa Fe’s favorite Nut Brown Ale. Soon, it will be available to the state’s supporters of the local craft beer scene and all things grown locally.

Beer Industry Partnerships Highlighted at NBWA’s 79th Annual Convention

Today, Paul J. Bertucci, executive vice president of F.E.B. Distributing Company, Inc. in Gulfport and Capital City Beverages, Inc. in Jackson, Mississippi, assumed the position of 2016-2017 chairman of the Board of Directors for the National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA) at the association’s 79th Annual Convention in Chicago, Illinois. As chairman, Bertucci will help guide the association as it advocates for licensed, independent beer distributors and educates elected officials, regulators, media and the public about the value of America’s open and independent distribution system and state-based alcohol regulation.

Blue Moon Opens New Denver Brewery

This month, Blue Moon Brewing Co. celebrates the grand opening of its new brewery in Denver’s River North (RiNo) Art District, following a soft opening in early July. Massachusetts Brewers Guild Elects New President

The MABG has been supporting the industry since 2007, and for six years, Rob Martin, founder of Ipswich Ale Brewery, has been leading the charge. Early last week, however, the Guild appointed Rob Burns, co-founder of Night Shift Brewing, as their new President.
