All profits of Mikkeller’s ’HELP’ beer will go to The Danish Refugee Counsel and the organizations work with Syrian refugee children in Lebanon. The beer will be launched with a charity event at WarPigs in the Meatpacking District, Copenhagen, on March 18th. The project was inspired by a photo series in Aftonbladet by Swedish photographer Magnus Wennman.

Thanks to Red Hare’s recent expansion, including a new state of the art brew house and high speed canning line, they will be able to grow their regional footprint to include these two neighboring states. “We’ve always felt the gulf shore would be a perfect fit for our cans,” says Roger Davis, founder and CEO of Red Hare Brewing Company. “I lived in Alabama for years, so I’m excited to be able to spend some time drinking Cotton Tail on the coast.”

Isle of Arran Blonde and Isle of Arran Dark are now available in that state. Isle of Arran Blonde is one of the top three microbrewery produced packaged ales in Scotland.
We are saddened to report the Lost Highway Black Lager is officially lost – to New Jersey. A homage to legendary Alabamian Hank Williams, a reflection of the actual highway running through the heart of this state, now belongs to a wine importer in New Jersey. And the federal trademark folks have ruled that wine is too similar to beer, there could be confusion between an Alabama six-pack and the importer of expensive wines, a ruling we did not anticipate when we first began to sell Lost Highway Black Lager in 2010.
Left Coast Brewing Co. today announced a signed partnership agreement with Triangle Distributing Company to distribute bottles, cans and kegs throughout South Los Angeles County. With already existing Left Coast presence in the area, the partnership will enable a production increase through new distribution points and an even greater customer service experience for existing accounts.
Boulder Beer Company, Colorado’s First Craft Brewery, will release a new limited-edition can design next month for its longtime fan favorite, Hazed hoppy session ale. This small run of cans will be available beginning in April and on the shelves while supplies last. The limited-edition can art references the iconic green and white Colorado license plate graphic, clearly stating this is a native Colorado brew.
In an effort to fill demand, Tree House will build a sizeable new brewery capable of eventually producing more than 125,000 barrels per year. In a blog posted to the company’s website on Tuesday, co-founder Nate Lanier detailed the company’s plans to build a 45,000 sq. ft. brewing facility in Charlton, Mass. Complete with a 50-barrel brewhouse and fermentation tanks as large as 240 barrels, the new brewery will initially be capable of producing 30,000 barrels annually, a significant increase from the 11,000 barrels Tree House will make in 2016.

Add West Virginia to Bell’s growing U.S footprint. One day after revealing its Mississippi distributors, the Michigan-based craft beer maker today announced it has signed agreements with a trio of Anheuser-Busch wholesalers throughout West Virginia. Proud Eagle, Mountain Eagle and Northern Eagle will begin selling the Bell’s brand throughout by mid-July, the brewery said in a statement.
Branchline Brewing Company’s can lineup has been expanded to include their 5th brand in cans, and their first in the 16 oz. format. Branchline Silver & Black IPA is available at local on and off-premise retailers. This handcrafted Black IPA is brewed with 2-row and crystal malts, roasted barley, Carafa III, Nugget and Cascade hops, and American ale yeast.
On Thursday, March 10th, Airways Brewing is proud to announce a new, larger brewery and tap room in Kent, as well as the release of its 6th Anniversary Mosaic Pilsner. Construction on the new, 9,000 square foot space, located on 212th St., has started and is expected to be completed this spring.
