It’s pretty rare for a Distribution company and a Brewery to collaborate on a beer, but MobCraft Beer and River City Distributing have come together to bring you Rhubarb IPA: A beer celebrating rhubarb, Wisconsin’s delicious early crop harvest, paired with hops to create a refreshing summer IPA.
Sales of craft beer are still slowing, according to the latest data from market research firm IRI Worldwide. Craft volume sales across the firm’s measured multi-outlet and convenience channels (MULC — which comprise grocery, drug, club, dollar, mass-merchandiser, Walmart and military stores), are up just 6.2 percent year-to-date through June 12. And over the latest four-week period, also ending June 12, volume gains are even slower — craft sales are up just 5 percent.

Asheville Brewing Company has released Lemon Space Dog American Wheat in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans. This much-loved summer brew also went on draft starting the first day of summer at Asheville Brewing’s three locations. It will be available in bottle shops, grocery stores, and convenience stores–wherever cans of beer are sold–within the next week or so.
