Karl Strauss Celebrates 28th Anniversary with Barrel-Aged Two Tortugas

Back in February of 1989 Karl Strauss opened their historic downtown San Diego brewpub, which helped ignite the city’s vibrant craft beer scene. Since then the brewery has gone on to accomplish many things, most recently winning “Mid-Size Brewing Company of the Year” at the Great American Beer Festival last fall.

One of America’s oldest breweries, Stevens Point Brewery turns 160 years old in 2017. The Wisconsin craft brewer is celebrating the anniversary with a Point Special Lager retro can package, commemorative bottle caps, big giveaway promotions at retail, and an extra special treat this summer: a commemorative draft beer available only while supplies last.

Resurgence Brewing Launches New Line of Four-Pack Cans

Resurgence Brewing Company will release its new line of 16-ounce cans starting with Irish Breakfast Ale on February 18. The cans will be sold in packs of four for $10 at the taproom, as well as in local retailers wherever RBC beer is sold.

Cincinnati’s Rhinegeist Brewery continued its impressive growth in 2016, increasing production more than 80 percent, to 56,500 barrels. In a recent year-in-review, shared with Brewbound, co-founder Bryant Goulding said his company released 96 different offerings last year, including 24 pale ales and 17 IPAs.

Ska Brewing to Release ‘Twelve Hangry Men’ for Durango Independent Film Festival
