Spirits Executive to Lead New Belgium as Next CEO

After an nine month search, New Belgium Brewing has found its next CEO. The Fort Collins, Colo.-headquartered company, which also operates a brewing facility in Asheville, North Carolina, today announced that Steve Fechheimer, the former chief strategy officer at Beam Suntory, would take over as CEO in mid-August.

New Agreement Ends Strike at Clare Rose After 82 Days

After nearly three months of striking, more than 100 union delivery drivers and warehouse workers have reached an agreement on a new three-year contract with Long Island beer distributor Clare Rose. Last week, Teamsters Local 812 announced that it had struck a tentative deal with the beer wholesaler after negotiating terms through a private mediator.

Constantia Flexibles Sells Labels Division to Multi-Color for $1.3 Billion

Constantia Flexibles has signed an agreement to sell its Labels division to Multi-Color Corporation (“Multi-Color”) for an enterprise value of approximately €1.15 billion ($1.3 billion). The transaction is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2017, subject to regulatory approvals.
