Bold Rock Hard Cider is pleased to announce a new chapter in the evolution of their Nellysford Cidery Campus – the Bold Rock Barrel Barn. The Barrel Barn is in fact a rebirth for their humble first production facility which allowed the Nelson County based craft beverage producer to embark on a path towards hard cider dominance throughout the Mid-Atlantic and beyond.
Tap it Forward Festival goers will get the first taste of an extremely rare beer brewed and barrel-aged by Genesee Brew House. Only 60 barrels of Reisky & Spies Bourbon Barrel-aged Old Ale will be available, starting at the Sept. 8 festival. The limited-release beer pays homage to the now-shuttered Reisky & Spies Brewery, established in 1874 in the same location as the Genesee Brew House.
This year, a special collaboration with Hopworks Urban Brewery (HUB) means festival goers can enjoy a unique Pacific NW take on a Bavarian Session Ale with the limited edition release, Mt. Angel Volksbier.
Pikes Peak Brewing Company and Maestro Brew Ltd, a UK company, have entered into a private label agreement to produce, import and distribute beer to the Chinese market.
This is the craft brewery’s 7th annual beer release and special event series to raise funds for breast cancer charities. This year, the new beer released for the program is an IPA brewed with passion fruit, and it will be available on-draft in 37 US states, supported by a dynamic, on-premise, tiki-themed event program in key cities.
BrewDog today announced a profit-sharing plan that will see the Scottish craft beer company give 20 percent of its annual earnings to employees and charities as part of a new “Unicorn Fund.” Under the plan, 10 percent of profits will be donated to 20 different charities. The other 10 percent will be evenly distributed across its entire workforce, which today stands at more than 1,100 employees.
