Appalachian Mountain Brewery Releases Session IPA to Celebrate North Carolina’s Mountains-to-Sea Trail

This summer, Appalachian Mountain Brewery (AMB), Boone’s beer pioneer, is celebrating the hundreds of volunteers who have helped build the Mountains-to-Sea Trail with a new seasonal, White Dot Session IPA. AMB will donate a portion of all proceeds from sales of the beer to Friends of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail, a non-profit that organizes state-wide community support to protect and promote the trail.

Molson Coors and Arizona Beverages Ink Marketing and Distribution Agreement

Molson Coors Brewing Company (NYSE: TAP; TSX: TPX) and Hornell Brewing Co., Inc., affiliate of AriZona Beverages, announced today that they have entered into a partnership agreement whereby Molson Coors will market and distribute a new Flavored Malt Beverage (FMB) brand – Arnold Palmer Spiked Half & Half – in the United States through its US division, MillerCoors. The brand will be introduced later this year in select markets followed by a full national launch in early 2018.

Craft Brew Alliance to Open Long-Awaited Redhook Brewpub in Seattle Next Month

After about 20 months of planning and building, Craft Brew Alliance (CBA) will finally open its Redhook brewpub in downtown Seattle in August. Located in the Pike Motorworks Building in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, the 10,000 sq. ft. Redhook “Brewlab” will feature a 10-barrel brewing system, 16 rotating draft beers and seating for 260 people, according to Derek Hahm, CBA’s vice president of sales and brewpubs.
