Glunz took over the distribution of the brewery based in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood in mid-April. Maplewood beers are all currently available in kegs, with some options also available in 22-ounce bombers.

Odell Brewing releases its first seasonal can offering – St. Lupulin Extra Pale Ale. Cascade Brewing is releasing a limited series of Vertical Reserve Box Sets. Each release will feature 100 four-packs that will contain bottles of a single brand from each of the past four years’ releases: 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. Each box set will retail for $100.

Brewers John and Ben Saller of Atlas Brewing Company announce a rebrand of their brewery to a new concept, Burnt City Brewing, opening in Chicago this May. Burnt City Brewing offers nuanced craft beer for Chicago and beyond, honoring a commitment to creating inventive beers with an emphasis on quality ingredients. Burnt City Brewing comprises a brewpub (2747 N. Lincoln Ave.), which offers a dozen rotating beers on tap and eight intimate bowling lanes for a distinctive craft beer experience in Lincoln Park, and a canning facility (825 E. 99th St.) located in the former Jays potato chip plant in the Pullman neighborhood, which begins distributing the new canned lineup in May.

Utepils Brewing Company is now under construction at the former Glenwood-Inglewood bottling plant. Construction crews will be working throughout the summer to get the equipment installed and taproom ready to open by late summer.

He got them 16 instead, in the form of (4) Four Roses bourbon barrels.

Perennial Artisan Ales of St. Louis, Missouri signed with Clear River Beverage Company to distribute in Minnesota. “We’re very excited that Clear River will be bringing our beers to the Twin Cities,” said Co-Founder and Brewmaster Phil Wymore. “It’s a very dynamic craft beer scene, and we think our beers will be a good fit with the varieties currently available in the market.”

Two Brothers Brewing Company is expanding both in beer sales and production in 2016. As a result of growing demand and sales, Two Brothers will add three new 200-barrel fermenters to its brewery in Warrenville, IL. The additions will increase Two Brothers’ brewing capacity to 88,000 barrels.
