After nearly 50 percent volume growth in 2011, Left Hand Brewing will look to add another 18,000 barrels in 2012. The Longmont, Colo. based company is currently in the midst of a ten year facility expansion plan that will bring total brewing capacity to 250,000 barrels.
BEND, OR – Deschutes Brewery has promoted Andrew Tysler to the newly created position of National Sales Director for the company. He was previously Western Region Sales Director and was appointed interim National Sales Director when the former Director of Sales and Marketing left Deschutes Brewery at the end of January.

PORTLAND, OR – Widmer Brothers Brewing has released Raspberry Russian Imperial Stout ’12, the second offering in the brewery’s recently launched Alchemy Project, a series of three bold, vintage-dated craft beers that can be enjoyed immediately, but are brewed to improve with age.
Heavy Seas today announced the release of its spring seasonal offering, Dubbel Cannon, a Belgian-style IPA. Dubbel Cannon will be available April through June in 12 oz bottles, on draught and on cask. This release coincides with the release of Plank II, also being made available in April.
