Good Liar, the Columbus-based non-alcoholic beer brand, today announced full statewide retail expansion across Whole Foods, Giant Eagle, and Market District locations throughout Ohio.

The expansion marks a significant step in Good Liar's Ohio retail strategy and adds two of the state's most important grocery stores to an existing network that includes Heinen's, ACME Fresh Market, Lucky's Market, Dave's Markets, and independent specialty retailers statewide. Distribution is handled by Heidelberg Distributing, one of Ohio's largest beverage distributors.

Good Liar is currently ranked #1 in dollar sales per point of distribution among non-alcoholic 6-packs in Ohio, with +298% year-over-year dollar growth.

The brand launched with a straightforward premise: non-alcoholic beer should compete on the beer shelf, not the wellness shelf. Good Liar is relentless about it. Every decision, from recipe to packaging, runs through a single filter: Is this the best non-alcoholic beer possible, full stop? Its flagship American IPA was built around balance and drinkability, not to win over beer purists (although it does), but to be something a person would reach for again without thinking about it. Good Liar delivers the bitterness, body, and aroma drinkers expect from a modern IPA while surprising non-IPA drinkers with an experience different from IPAs with alcohol.

“We continually hear this is the best non-alc beer people have ever had. That’s what gets me excited. Not only deliver a great brand but a product that absolutely smashes expectations. This category has so much more room to grow when the liquid delivers.” — Jared Langston, Founder, Good Liar

Good Liar is currently available throughout Ohio and through Good Liar’s online store, along with independent wholesale sites Airgoods and FAIRE. The brand will expand into additional markets later this year alongside the release of a second SKU.
