MillerCoors today announced it would be re-launching its its low-calorie brand, Miller64. The brand, previously MGD 64, features a refreshed look and will be supported with new advertising campaigns. You might remember when the company rolled out MGD 64 Lemonade last summer, but discontinued it after just three months on the shelves.
Boulevard Brewing Company today announced a marketing partnership with Sporting Kansas City, the local Major League Soccer (MLS) team. Sun King Brewing today announced a minor change to its house beer lineup. The company said Bitter Druid ESB would move to from a year-round offering and become a semi-annual specialty beer. “All of the ‘house’ beers have been growing at an exponential rate except for ESB,” said Director of Communications Neal Taflinger.
It’s a fresh-pressed acquisition that has the beer world buzzing. When Tenth and Blake, MillerCoors’ craft and import division announced the purchase of Crispin Cider earlier this month, the cider channel received instant validation. In June of last year, Sunoco rolled out the “Craft Beer Exchange,” in an attempt to capitalize on the growth of the craft beer market. The program, which started at 12 APlus accounts in the Buffalo, NY area has expanded twice since its inception – last November and earlier this year.
