Two craft breweries have released some very well-produced marketing videos this month.
Earlier this week, Sixpoint Brewery unveiled its new website and featured a fresh video that tells the story of its newest beer, Resin. In the video, Sixpoint President Shane Welch breaks down the anatomy of a hop cone, likening it to a pine cone.
Much like Resin, the video is well-crafted and already has nearly 14,000 views since being posted on March 4th.
Not to be outdone, Full Sail Brewing Company passed around its latest video, “The Art & Science of Bourbon Barrel Aged Beer,” today.
This video discusses the process of the barrel aging program at Full Sail. In an email note, Full Sail Marketing Manager Sandra Evans wrote:
“We’re stoked to release our new video, ‘The Art & Science of Bourbon Barrel Aged Beer,’ where we take you deep into our cellar for a glimpse behind the scenes of how we barrel age beer at Full Sail. Cheers!”
Port Brewing/ The Lost Abbey also created a short video that details the brewing process behind its Hot Rocks Lager.
The high production value in these videos is commendable and something more brewers should be conscious of before releasing ‘viral videos.’
