C Squared Ciders, a Denver, CO-based independent craft cidery announced the release of Drake, the second offering from their high end and barrel-aged Sailor Series. Drake is an English-American Hybrid Cider made with heritage Chisel Jersey apples.

Founders Brewing to Release Panther Cub as Taproom-Exclusive

Founders Brewing Co. announced Panther Cub as the fourth release in the taproom-only Mothership Series. Panther Cub is the first barrel-aged release of the series. It will be exclusively available in the brewery’s Detroit and Grand Rapids taprooms in 6-pack bottles and on draft beginning December 1.

Schlafly Beer to Release Stout Bout Variety Pack

Schlafly Beer announces today the upcoming release of the Stout Bout, one of the most popular variety packs from the largest locally owned craft brewery in St. Louis. Hi-Wire Brewing at Golden Belt opened its doors to the public on Saturday, November 17 at 12 pm. Located at 800 Taylor Street in Durham, NC Hi-Wire Brewing’s new 10,522 square foot taproom features a large outdoor patio, 24 taps of Hi-Wire beer including one-offs, rare sour and wild ales, specialties not available anywhere else, guest wines and ciders on tap, and numerous games for entertainment.

As US Beer Shipments Decline, Off-Premise Sales Remain Flat

Shipments of domestically brewed beer are down about 2.9 percent, according to the Beer Institute, but year-to-date volume sales at off-premise retailers are still basically flat. According to the latest data from market research firm IRI, volume sales at multi-outlet and convenience stores were down 0.3 percent year-to-date through the period ending November 4.
