AMANA, IA – Millstream Brewery, Iowa’s Oldest Craft Brewery, is now taking advantage of the new law Iowa passed in 2010. Before 2010 Iowa breweries could only brew up to about 6.25% ABV, now it is 15% ABV! To celebrate this monumental event in Iowa’s history, Millstream has released their high gravity “Brewmaters Extreme Series”.
DURANGO, CO. – Judging has been completed in the 2011 Ska Brewing GABF Pro-Am Homebrew Competition, and Ska announced that Seth Townsend has won the “Best In Show” gold medal with his Organic Dubbel. Townsend’s Dubbel was entered in the Belgian Strong Ale category, where it also took top honors.
