ALEXANDRIA, VA — During the month of April, the National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA) will be recognizing Alcohol Awareness Month, as designated by the U.S. Health and Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), to raise awareness about the problem of alcohol abuse.

Founders Brewing — the fastest growing brewery in the country — yesterday announced plans to can its session offering, All Day IPA. The Michigan-based brewery said it will release the low-alcohol brew across its entire distribution footprint in 12-packs this summer.
Shifting rather neatly, the craft beer industry continues to grow as colossal brands lose market share. Paul Gatza, director of the Brewers Association, explained this shift at Wednesday’s opening reception for the Craft Brewers Conference in Washington D.C.
