FCB (Fort Collins Brewery) is going back in time for the special release of its Retro Brewer’s Lunchbox that is set to hit shelves August and September, 2015.

As a brewer of Belgian-style beers, New Belgium Brewing has always had an affinity for Farmhouse Ales and now it’s brewing its own – Long Table Farmhouse Ale.

Rochester Mills Beer Co. & Production Brewery announce a 2015 seasonal release date of July 31 for its Oktoberfest Celebration Lager, a malty, German-style Lager (or Märzen) with low to moderate hop bitterness featuring a medium body and brilliant amber color.

Today the Colorado Brewers Guild announced the return of Hop the Vote to the Great American Beer Festival (GABF). Hop the Vote is a spirited but friendly brewing competition held between Colorado State House of Representatives and Colorado State Senators. Brewing will take place this month with voting occurring during the first three sessions at GABF on September 24 – 26.

Suds Session Ale is a unique, frothy suspect, that’s hard to pick out of a police lineup. The beer was inspired by Vienna Lagers, but fermented with California ale yeast. It associates with English Pale Ales, minus the earthy hops. Eyewitnesses have confirmed that Suds Session Ale is a brass colored, light-bodied, malt-forward session beer that’s loaded with flavor. It will be released year-round by Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, on draft and in cans, starting in August.

In 1985, Larry Bell set out on a quest for better beer with his 15-gallon soup pot. Thirty years later, Bell’s Brewery, Inc. will release its 30th Anniversary Ale. An American Imperial Stout, Bell’s 30th Anniversary Ale is also a nod to another beer and one of the earliest examples of the style released here in the United States, Bell’s Expedition Stout.
