This February, Four Peaks Brewing Company celebrates the 3rd release of it Spring Seasonal, Short Hop Session IPA, to the Arizona market. This full bodied, low ABV IPA with a citrusy finish will be available at the original Four Peaks Brewery in Tempe, Four Peaks Grill & Tap in Scottsdale, the Four Peaks Tasting Room on Wilson St., Four Peaks Sky Harbor Airport and for state-wide retail distribution through Hensley Beverage Company beginning February 22, 2016.
A team featuring some of Portland’s favorite entrepreneurs is pleased to announce its plans for Wayfinder Beer, a new brewery/restaurant coming to Portland’s Central Eastside neighborhood. Founders Charlie Devereux (Double Mountain Brewery & Taproom), Matthew Jacobson (Sizzle Pie, Quality Bar, Relapse Records), and Rodney Muirhead (Podnah’s Pit, La Taq) are busy converting a 100-year-old brick warehouse into a classic craft brewery, with a 100+ seat beer hall and an equally large outdoor seating area. Current plans call for opening in Spring 2016.

Boston Beer Company has hired former Campbell’s Soup executive Quincy Troupe as its new vice president of supply chain, the beer maker announced last Friday. In a filing, Boston Beer said Troupe will report to CEO Martin Roper and have primary responsibility for overseeing the company’s supply chain — including brewery management, engineering, safety, production quality, and scheduling.

Crown Holdings, Inc. Golden Eagle Distributors, an Anheuser-Busch InBev wholesaler based in Tucson, Ariz. has announced the sale of its 9 million case beer and non-alcoholic beverage operation to its larger competitor, Phoenix-based Hensley Beverage. Hensley, also an A-B InBev wholesaler, sells approximately 20 million cases of beer and non-alcoholic beverages throughout Arizona. The combination of the two companies means nearly all A-B InBev products — about 30 million cases — sold in state will be controlled by a single distributor.
Port Townsend’s Propolis Brewing is teaming up with Beerthirst to distribute its multi-awarding ales in British Columbia. The new expansion will bring Propolis’ unique, hand-crafted seasonal herbal ales to specialty liquor stores throughout British Columbia in late January 2016. The introduction will give British Columbian craft beer drinkers access to award winning Propolis ales such as Beltane Golden Elderflower Saison Brett and Spruce Golden Saison.

A new year means new beer and Coronado Brewing plans to ring it in in epic fashion. For the first time in four years the company is adding a brand new year-round offering to its core line up. Stingray IPA is set for national release in early January and will be in international markets by the end of the month.
