Lightweight Containers has started up a new production line to make KeyKeg Slimlines and UniKegs. The new line is in Joliet, Illinois (US). The fully automated computer- and robot-driven line can produce the entire Slimline and UniKeg series depending on demand. Logoplaste supports and oversees the line’s daily production. With the new line, Lightweight Containers is preparing for the rapid growth it anticipates in the United States.

Christopher Jackson, whose father Jess Jackson created the well-known Kendall-Jackson wine label in 1982 and built a global wine empire before passing away in 2011, is in the process of constructing a 25,000-barrel craft brewery to open this summer in California’s Sonoma County. In an interview with Brewbound, Jackson described his new $8 million Seismic Brewing Company project, which will be located at 2870 Duke Ct. in Santa Rosa, Calif., as an independent venture.

And now, a new Indiana-based hard soda line is ready to launch. Starting in August, Garden Party Botanical Hard Sodas will launch their line of premium, all-natural hard sodas in the Hoosier state through a distribution deal with Monarch Beverage.

After months of exploring distribution suitors in Oregon, the Ordnance team signed with General Distributors Inc.
Payette Brewing Company, Idaho’s largest brewery and makers of Rustler IPA, is thrilled to announce they will begin distribution in Montana and Wyoming this month with Oklahoma on the horizon. Montana and Wyoming will be the sixth and seventh state Payette Brewing adds to their distribution portfolio, following Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.
